About

You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.

– Maya Angelou

Hello, and thank you for visiting  my blog. My name is Jazzmine Taylor, and I currently reside in San Diego, California, with my husband and two pets. I’m originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, but I relocated here after joining the US Navy in 2012. I was an Operations Specialist aboard the USS Princeton CG-59, and that was an experience that opened my eyes to the rest of the world. Since then, I’ve left active duty and decided that I would live the rest of my life only doing what comes naturally and feels right. I now use my camera to document my experiences as I explore the world around me. I started this blog as a tribute to my grandma, Bettie Marie, for introducing me to my passion when I was just eight years old. Photography is a large part of who I am, so I’m here to share the stories behind my photography and connect with fellow creatives with the same level of passion.

Please don’t forget to subscribe to stay up to date with my latest blogs & feel free to say hi on my Instagram photography page!

Authenticity Over Everything,
